Location: Baltimore City & County, Prince Georges County
Private Detective
Location: MD State Wide
Keep In Mind:
- Individuals applying for security positions should have or be able to obtain a MD Guard Certification.
- Individuals applying for an Armed position must have an active wear and carry permit with the occupational police practical shooting designation as opposed to simply the home defense shooting qualification.
- MPSLP offers affordable classes to individuals employed with us seeking higher levels of credentialing.
- SPO applicants must have completed an appoved SPO course within the last 3 years and be able to obtain their commission prior to work start or already have an active commission with MDSP.
- DC credentials are not transferable to MD, you must obtain a MD license.
Disqualifiers:
- Pending criminal charges that would disqualify you from receiving or renewing MDSP licenses.
- Non MDSP disqualifying crimes that directly relate to the fitness to serve clients of MPSLP (ex. theft charges would prevent us from placing you in a retail or cash heavy location. Drug or alchohol charges would prevent us from placing you with a rehab or treatment center client.)
- Felony convictions from any state or territory of the US.
- Inability to obtain work authorization and/or unlawful presence in the US.
- Prior sustained complaints of Excessive Force when working as a Police Officer, Special Police Officer, or Security Officer.
- Dishonesty in the application process.
