Our Security Officers wear clean uniforms embossed with the MPSLP crest and logo. Additionally, they wear 5G Live Streaming body cameras and are trained in crime suppression, loss prevention and verbal judo as well as in weapon retention, self defense and subject apprehension, if necessary.Our Officers are trained by approved Maryland Security Guard Instructors who deliver training in Maryland's required Initial Training Course for 12 hours. Our Officers then complete our in house 10 Hour course before an additional 6 hours of field training, with a field training officer. When you encounter an officer from MPSLP, you're encountering someone with a minimum of 28 Hours of training.
Our Armed officers complete an additional 16 hours of weapons training for a minimum of 44 Hours of training.
Our supervisors go on to complete Maryland's Special Police training and have received over 124 Hours of training.
Vehicle Patrol
MPS Vehicle Patrols
Site dependent, MPS Officers perform vehicle patrols. Depending on the needs and requests of the client, you will find our Officers operating marked or unmarked units. Marked cars display our company logo as well as caution lighting as appropriate. Vehicle patrols also include real time GPS-based tour tracking.
MPSLP Patrol Vehicles are also equipped with Premium Nexar Beam Dash Cameras allowing the Dispatchers to remote stream feeds from the field.
Dispatch / Monitoring
24 Hour Dispatch and Monitoring
No security operation is complete without a state-of-the-art monitoring center backing it. Our dispatch center consists of supervisors who monitor Officer operations as well as client onsite camera feeds (site dependent). Supervisors answer calls from our clients (and residents - site dependent) 24 hours a day to ensure we have happy customers.
MPSLP Dispatchers have the ability to live stream officer body cameras AND share those feeds real time with other officers in the field to aid in the quick resolution of incident in progress.
Dispatchers Utilize Therms and the REAL-PTT Dispatcher Console to carry out these duties. Paired with Google Business VOIP solution, Dispatchers have an endless quantity of holding lines for superior call waiting.
MPSLP is Beta Testing Dispatch AI, to automatedly introduce calls into the Dispatch CAD.
